Rihanna’s beauty products even won in the “Face” category with 29.93 percent of consumers showing interest in purchases. More of Rihanna’s products topped the charts, leaving Kylie Cosmetics at number seven on the list. Kylie’s makeup offerings only place #1 on one list, and it was for the category of “Cheek” thanks to her Kylighter.
Rihanna’s first full year of business pulled in 500 million euros in sales – now that’s a serious milestone.
“You have all these ideas of things you want for yourself, and for me, beauty was a natural fit because makeup is such a huge part of my career and image,” Rihanna said when describing why she started her makeup brand. “I wanted to do a line for years, but it needed to be credible, something that industry pros and girls around the world would respect.”
